The Mactan-Cebu International Airport (MCIA) reminds ALL arriving domestic passengers to comply with the following MANDATORY arrival procedures implemented at Terminal 1 as part of the preventive measures against the spread of COVID-2019:
1. Mandatory Public Health Passenger Locator Forms
All passengers arriving in Terminal 1 are required to fill-out and submit the Public Health Passenger Locator Form upon their arrival at MCIA. This will be used by the Department of Health and the Bureau of Quarantine to check a passenger’s recent travel history and to locate a passenger for contact tracing should the need arise.
Passengers refusing to comply with and/or found providing false information will be penalized accordingly by the Cebu Provincial Government.
2. Thermal scanning of body temperature by the Bureau of Quarantine
Together with the Department of Health, the Bureau of Quarantine has intensified its monitoring of domestic passengers by conducting thermal scans of passenger body temperatures for all flights arriving in Terminal 1.
Hence, all arriving domestic passengers must go through the designated lane for thermal scanning before exiting Terminal 1 Arrivals Area.
These preventive measures are aligned with our commitment of ensuring the safety and well-being of our passengers and airport community members.
