backarrowTEMPORARY ENTRY RESTRICTIONS FOR INTERNATIONAL ARRIVALS AT MACTAN-CEBU INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

18 MARCH 2021

With reference to Memorandum Circular No. 5, s. 2021 issued by the National Task Force (NTF) on March 16, 2021, the following passengers are temporarily prohibited from entering the country via Mactan-Cebu International Airport (MCIA) starting 00:01 of March 20, 2021 until April 19, 2021:
1. Returning Overseas Filipinos (ROFs) who are non-Overseas Filipino Workers (Non-OFWs)
2. Foreign Nationals

However, passengers under the following classifications are EXEMPTED from the said restriction:
a. Holders of 9(e) visas
b. Medical repatriation and their escort/s duly endorsed by the Department of Foreign Affairs-Office of the Undersecretary for Migrant Workers Affairs (DFA-OUMWA) or the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA)
c. Distressed ROFs duly endorsed by the DFA-OUMWA
d. Emergency, humanitarian, and other analogous cases approved by the NTF COVID-19

All arriving passengers are advised to strictly comply with the arrival protocols and adherence to the minimum public health standards. The well-being of passengers and staff remains MCIA’s topmost priority in this continuing global battle against COVID-19.
