backarrow MCIA Announces AirAsia’s New Route Connecting Cebu to Narita

Cebu, Philippines – Mactan-Cebu International Airport (MCIA) is pleased to announce AirAsia's new route connecting Cebu to Narita, Japan, which officially commencing on July 2, 2023. This new route is offered with three (3) flights a week every Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays.

The new Cebu to Narita route will be operated using an A320 aircraft with a seating capacity of 180, allowing passengers to enjoy a pleasant journey, whether they are traveling for business or leisure.

To celebrate the launch of the Cebu to Narita route, MCIA prepared a ceremonial program to officially mark the launch of the new route with its long-tradition of cake-cutting ceremony and a water cannon salute.

MCIA and AirAsia eagerly anticipate the launch of this new route, expecting it to further enhance regional connectivity and promote economic growth between the Philippines and Japan.
